Jolly Roger

Jolly Roger Accommodation and Adventure is situated in Twee Riviere, a historic town with a rural, old-world charm set in the Eastern Cape. The quaint town is the perfect destination for those seeking a tranquil retreat from the bustling city life.

Accommodation is offered in a choice of 2 free-standing 'hartbeeshuisies', a traditional wattle-and-daub house. Both units can sleep 4 guests at a time and comprise either 1 or 2 bedrooms as well as a bathroom. The units feature a kitchenette which is equipped to meet guests' basic self-catering needs while portable braai facilities are available for each unit.

The Jolly Roger farmstall is located 2 km from the accommodation site and features a coffee shop, gift shop and an entertainment area where guests can enjoy meals and unwind.

Guests are welcome to go hiking, jogging, cycling or birdwatching on the farm. Activities to enjoy in the area include abseiling, canyoning, 4x4 trails, mountain biking, hiking, and birdwatching.


'Berghuisie Basis": (small groups) Mountain biking, joggers, walking, landscape photography, bird watching

Loose stone gravel road from Berghuisie basis to the Kouga River and back, approximately 5km. 


Kouga Servitude: Cyclists (small groups)

The whole Kouga servitude from Joubertina (Die Kraaltjie) to Opkoms before Joubertina. Totalling at approximately 60km. The Berghuisie basis route is shown on the route but is excluded from the 60km distance.

Turn off at Langklip Estate board from R62. Following the blue arrows, drive 4km on bumpy servitude up to the entrance gate. Gate lock code is only obtainable from Nooitgedacht owners. Report to / register at Reception. Drive to parking area and walk up to the Kloof, walking distance is approximately 1km.

NB: Any area off the yellow line is strictly Langklip Estate private property, no unauthorised persons allowed. If you are interested in the Langklip Activities, kindly contact the owner Sharon Ferguson or enquire at Reception.

NB: These are nature conservation grounds - no fire or littering or damage to vegetation is allowed.
