Kabeljouws Nature Reserve
KRAG is hosting another Sunset-Moonrise Walk .
When: Monday, 16 May 2022 (Please note - this event is weather dependent)
Time: 16h30 at the reserve's main entrance next to the R102.
- Anyone is welcome, so please invite your friends and family!!
- Bring your own drinks and snacks, as well as a torch or head lamp for the return journey.
- Sunset: is approximately 17h26 Moonrise: is approximately 17h42.
- There is no specific return time, so please feel free to enjoy the evening at your leisure.
- There are 2 view sites to choose from - the choice is yours!! One is in the North East Renoster-fynbos area. This is a walk of 1km (2km return). The other is in the dune area, which is a 1.4km walk (2.8km return). Trails are marked to assist in guiding you to these view sites. You can also find a map with all of the reserve's trails on the KRAG Facebook page.
- Secure parking will be provided at the main entrance of the Reserve. No vehicles or pets are allowed in the Reserve.

- KRAG is always in need of funds to maintain the reserve. Donations can be made via EFT payment (see bank details below); via KRAG's SnapScan Click-to-Pay Link (https://pos.snapscan.io/qr/mGmbj9vz); or via KRAG's SnapScan QR-Code (available on the KRAG Facebook page). Alternatively, there will also be a cash donation list at the reserve entrance. All donations are used exclusively to help maintain the Kabeljous Reserve for the public to enjoy.
